Chennai: Startups in Tamil Nadu are set to receive a major boost as AI compute credits worth ₹1.5 crore are being offered by osmAPI to support their innovation and scaling journey.
As part of this initiative, AI compute credits will be extended exclusively to startups registered with StartupTN, enabling them to accelerate development in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
osmAPI, a StartupTN Smart Card Partner, has introduced this initiative to provide structured access to AI Compute Credits, helping startups overcome infrastructure barriers and focus on building scalable AI-driven solutions.
Two-Tier Support Structure for AI Compute Credits
The initiative has been designed with two distinct tiers to cater to startups at different growth stages, ensuring wider access to AI Compute Credits across the ecosystem.
- Tier 1 – Elite Grant
- ₹5 lakh worth AI Compute Credits for 20 high-growth AI startups
- Total allocation: ₹1 crore in AI Compute Credits
- Tier 2 – Growth Grants
- ₹1 lakh worth AI Compute Credits for 50 early-stage startups
- Total allocation: ₹50 lakh in AI Compute Credits
Through this structured model, osmAPI aims to distribute AI Compute Credits effectively among startups building impactful AI solutions.
